My point being that if meaning can be found in life without god, one's intellectual faculties should not be unnecessarily clouded by the false comfort provided by an unreasonable religious concept. Focusing on the reality of one's life and the meaning s/he brought to others by being alive becomes unduly eclipsed when one illogically delves into fairy tale land. By preferring false comfort, one is metaphorically shitting all over the reality of one's own life. If meaning can be found in life without god, so can death.
