It SOUNDS good - but you re not factoring in all the costs.
Like what it cost to apprehend, transport and guard those people.
Apprehending them isn't part of the $750/day to house them, and transportation probably isn't either. You may find this hard to believe, but for $3,000 a day for a family of four, I can afford to hire security for just those four people, have plenty left over to house them, and make a profit for myself in the process. I'm one of those rare people who can make $21,000 a week to manage a family of four work. I'm, like, a financial genius. And I'd have a new house at the end of it, too. At the end of a year, I could spend six million dollars on keeping that family cared for, safe, AND secure, and still wind up a millionaire myself while providing jobs in my community.
It's freaking $750 per day per person!
