If this argument amounts to "Don't let the dangerous ones in." Then shouldn't it be "Deport those who commit violent crimes, letting the others stay with a path to citizenship"?
I mean this sounds a lot less like.. what was it olb said? "we better let everybody out of prison because innocent people sometimes end up in prison." and more like "We better put everyone in prison because guilty people sometimes go free"
