3 of the worst arguments in favor of capitalism I have ever heard 

1. Capitalism built this innovation thus capitalism is good 

No capitalism does not innovate . Workers who's labor is stolen innovate . Capitalism's only contribution is  driving a desire a wasteful and needless culture of consumerism . But even if we granted this point it would not make capitalism good

2.Capitalism has decreased poverty 

Actually it has not and even if it did in most cases it's traded poverty for subjugation

3. Competition is Capitalism and it is good 

Markets can exist in socialism and no in Capitalism competition generally leads to the most ruthless winning not the best
