There's the rub, Mehmet-there's the rub.
What really is the problem?
The military is the people. At least we Turks have always seen the military being the "people" themselves, not a seperate entity that towers above us.
Throughout our history, we have always been warriors. We didn't see us as anything different, even now.
It's said that every Turk is born a soldier.
The army cannot go against the same nation it's compromised from. It's certainly not possible. However, it is also tasked with defending the same nation from any threats, either internal, or external.
