Well..Pliny the Younger did, who was raised by Pliny the Elder (his uncle). If Elder knew anything about jesus, christ, or christians..... he didn't tell Younger about it, in the course of grooming and educating him for his position.
We know this because the next historic ref after the first two is Pliny the Younger expressing (to Emp. Trajan) abject ignorance of the religion and investigating it. He was a contemporary of Tacitus. They knew each other, btw. IRL, lol. Guess Tacitus never told him about it either.
