Give me a squad of Navy Seals armed with Remington 870 shotguns (one of the most common civilian hunting weapons in existance) and put them up against a crew of gangbangers armed with machine guns in an urban environment- and you will have a large drop in the crime statistics in about an hour.

I think he’s talking about banning military weapons for civilians, not soldiers. Is there a reason a civilian needs a fully functional AR-15?
