If the President is thrown out of office, it will be the Republicans in the Senate who will cast the deciding votes.  They are duly-elected representatives of the American people, and will have the legal right to do so.

I wasn't objecting to the "try" part, but to the "overturn the election" part of what you wrote. Congress can legally remove a president from office. There's nothing illegal or nefarious about it.

You don't seem to realize that Trump has pushed Democrats too far. We have power in the government too, and are not just Trump's doormat to walk all over.

It isn't illegal to be partisan. If it was, Trump would be in jail already. So don't be such a hypocrite.
