Why? because the report the whistleblower made about the phone call between trump and the president of ukraine was said to have ahad quid pro quoe information the call did not have IE trump said he wanted ukraine to investigate possible illegal dealings biden had in their country or he would cut a billion dollars in funding.

The transcripts of the phone call where released (I read them) and nothing of the sort ever panned out! 

Matter of fact the only person holding back aid or ever threatened to was BIDEN HIMSELF! in that there was a prosecutor that was investigating him and his son for shady dealings in the ukraine and biden is recorded bragging about the fact that he told the president of the ukraine to fire the special prosecutor looking into him and his son or they would cut 1 billion dollars from special aid going to the urain!
