Distasteful, I suppose, but not against the rules. She wasn't a rep at the time. The ethics probe had nothing to do with the revenge pron relationship.
We can look at this thread to see all that's wrong with this narrative. Just a few pages back people thought that she'd been caught cheating on her hubby with an aide and there were pictures, and denied it. Nope. Literally none of that is true...but that's the impression making the rounds.
