Brexit will feature prominently in the UK news media...all fucking year long...yet again. Conversely, the rate of man-made Global Warming will continue to increase as the feedback mechanisms take hold and "fake news" based denialism will continue to flourish, keeping the issue on the back burner as far as news media goes....yet again. Governments all over the world will continue to refuse to ask the electorate to reduce consumption because of fearing the R word (recession) which carries stigma, seeking yet further economic GROWTH instead, again, which will further hasten Global Warming. Wealth inequality will continue to increase as the stone age "let the deregulated free market look after us! Liberty!" law of the jungle economic philosophy of right wing governments marches on.

Basically, it ain't looking good IMO.
