Isn't quite good is being generous. They have less money to work with than an american state and their weapons are absolute garbage. That's why they've gone unconventional. That's what happens when your government is taken over by organized crime. The sun isn't shining on putins russia, it's been crammed directly up some swampy asshole where it can't even see the light of day, lol. That, more than anything, is a picture from our future if we don't correct the course. We don't have an empire to lose. If we did, we could fall back on that. Since we don't, we're pretty much up here in the trapeze with no wires.
Buddying up to russia while antagonizing china is a losers bet. If we have to do some combination of those things, we've got it completely backwards. Makes you wish the president had visited beijing back in the day, instead of moscow. At least we'd have a relevant foreign asset in office, today.
