Here is a discussion where believers have blamed Scientists for predicting that the world will end today, and that they want to know what time it is supposed to end so that they can laugh at them.
then one person comes up and says that scienctists didnt do the prediction, but that a Christian did...
..and then met with the usual "He isnt a real Christian" bullshit.
And even after that, people are still blaming scientists for end of the world predictions of Y2k... which was clearly a fundy prediction that scientists laughed at.
You just cant fix stupid.
