null hy·poth·e·sis
/nəl hīˈpäTHəsəs/
noun
noun: null hypothesis; plural noun: null hypotheses
(in a statistical test) the hypothesis that there is no significant difference between specified populations, any observed difference being due to sampling or experimental error.
Where does this definition say : "The null hypothesis is always that the explanation for something is chance". That's your definition of the null hypothesis.
You should stop accusing people of not understanding something, when you clearly don't yourself.
I was trying to dumb it down enough for you to grasp, but apparently that can't be done.

Still waiting for a response to this question:
If there is no compulsion to adhere to Islam, then tell me what happens to those born of Muslims who stray away from Islam?
It depends on where they live. There are few countries that both have death as a penalty and actually carry it out. More have it on the books but seem to never actually carry out the death sentence. Others have jail times or corporal punishment like whipping. At least half of majority Muslim crimes have no formal punishment for apostasy, although social penalties like shunning may be used. Generally Muslim countries that used to be Soviet satellites do not have any real punishment at all for apostasy.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.
