Personally, I don't buy a religion that advocates conversion at the point of a sword, or the muzzle of a gun. Kloro will claim that is not "real" islam. Perhaps it isn't. But it is most of it as practiced in the real world.

Practiced by whom? You misinformed ignorant? What is the proportion of extremists out of the entire Muslim population? How often - and why is apostasy applied? Just do some research to see if we really murder people because of their belief ...???

Practiced as islam by the fuckers that fly planes into buildings. Practiced by the suicide bombers. Do you live in a cave or something?

Want examples? OK

And I could go on. You are denying the reality of islam when it is right in front of you.

It matters not a whit that Kloro thinks that is a wrong interpretation of islam. He is fringe islam at best. The rest of islam keeps on trucking with the random killings, and gross misogyny, and terrorism, and suicide bombings and so forth  all in the name of an interpretation of islam that Kloro claims is incorrect.

And whose interpretation of Islam should the majority take then, yours ? It's because of your ignorance and inability to nuance your ideas about Islam that there are so many interpretations. If only people can keep their mouth shut and understand, nobody would blow themselves in the name of any religion.
Nope. Islam is bullshit goat herder superstitious nonsense. I need nothing further. I don't need much understanding to know that butchering people for stupid so called crimes is bullshit. Because secular morals are far above that level of savagery. I find it interesting that you find a need to defend such savagery. Do you think that is moral? I don't.

And if anyone wants to blow themselves, they will first have to have some ribs surgically removed. Why taht perversion is in your head is anyone's guess, but to each his own. Literally.

null hy·poth·e·sis
/nəl hīˈpäTHəsəs/
noun
noun: null hypothesis; plural noun: null hypotheses
(in a statistical test) the hypothesis that there is no significant difference between specified populations, any observed difference being due to sampling or experimental error.

Where does this definition say : "The null hypothesis is always that the explanation for something is chance". That's your definition of the null hypothesis.

You should stop accusing people of not understanding something, when you clearly don't yourself.

I was trying to dumb it down enough for you to grasp, but apparently that can't be done.

I don't welcome terrorists or criminals into my topics.

Still waiting for a response to this question:

If there is no compulsion to adhere to Islam, then tell me what happens to those born of Muslims who stray away from Islam?

It depends on where they live. There are few countries that both have death as a penalty and actually carry it out. More have it on the books but seem to never actually carry out the death sentence. Others have jail times or corporal punishment like whipping. At least half of majority Muslim crimes have no formal punishment for apostasy, although social penalties like shunning may be used. Generally Muslim countries that used to be Soviet satellites do not have any real punishment at all for apostasy.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

There have been so many times xians that come here screeching "atheists say nothing about islam", that I lost count. Truth of the matter is that we get more of them than towel heads. Heh, we get a couple at the moment. Carpe diem Tongue
