Did Mary and Joseph ever have sex?

Oh well, this is an unsolvable conundrum for Christians. Catholics desperately want to believe Mary and Joseph never had sex, while protestants don't care.

The most honest article I could find is a protestant article that is taking into account what Catholics and some of the prominent Christians want to believe versus Mt. 1:25

Surprisingly, article calls out Catholic game of playing the usual "the world in the Bible has many meanings/ it is wrongly translated" as deceptive, just as their quick practice of changing the subject from Mt. 1:25 to some other verses.

But the conclusion from the article is:

Catholics view this as being at the highest level of ‘revealed truth’. Translation: some monk who was highly stressed due to overwork, poor diet, and no sex thought it up in a fever dream.

Oh the whole lot fell apart for me with Santa. Once one discovered one beardy magic sky fairy was no real, one started to question the other sky fairies. But that was decades ago.

In fairness, and honesty, i had a school friend. He was, I suppose, the soft type, son of a widow, a mom's boy. He became the viictim du jour. Eventually he suicided. It is a matter of great regret to me that as kids we did not intervene in what we could plainly see happening. We all knew that he was being abused by the cross dressing rapists. But we were kids. Rather him than any of the rest of us.

Poor fucker.

And that is how it went in those days. Everyone knew not just how to spot the victim, but how to avoid becoming the victim. And if one did not learn that lesson, then you were wastage. Better you than me. 

It grieves me now, in later life, that I did not step up for what I knew to be right when I was a child. But I was a child. The blanket of authority and fear conquered all.
