Unless you’re prepared to disenfranchise believers and set up some sort of atheistocracy (which would create a whole new set of societal problems, not the least of which will be armed rebellion), we’ll just have to muddle through. This is the typical atheist excuse for their lack of critical thinking and problem solving talent. You are unwittingly suggesting that atheists do have the ability to solve social issues, but you suggest that it has to be a public governing organization - you are not considering the possibility of gather atheists in a private organization to properly deliberate the arguments and generate a political agenda.
I can assure you that neither of the contemporary political parties do it as critically thinking reasonable atheists would do it, if critically thinking reasonable atheists would do it.

The point that I am trying to make is that there is not an infinite number of solutions, which is what atheists pretend there to be to excuse their lack of determining the finite number of solutions to any given problem. And as you did, you suggest that the problem is that there are not enough atheists in enough legislative seats, and so forth and so on.
Lol, I’m not making excuses for anyone. But in order to effect societal change, critical thinking and problem solving skills are not enough (if they were, mathematicians and chess players would rule the world).
But there is nothing inherent about atheists that makes us good problem solvers - some are, some are not. But in any case, it’s going to be awfully difficult to get atheists to generate a political agenda. The reason why is left as an exercise for the student, but it should be fairly obvious.
You’re a funny sort, you are. I offer to give you solutions for social problems (which you want atheists to do), then you tell me you’re not interested unless I can gather supporters. Well, how do you expect atheists to organize if you won’t even listen to what they have to say?
But my offer stands. Name a problem and I’ll give you the fix for it.
