A rapist colony then maybe? That island is looking better and better. What does your system do when all of the syndicates decide that they don't like rapists Sae? Shitty solutions to shitty problems, I agree, I just can't see how your alternative is handling this any better. Maybe it does, opinions are like assholes right? Mines as brown as the next.
Perhaps the idea of a syndicate works in one context and not in the next, could make for a decent society but has trouble dealing with criminals. Wouldn't be the first time a political ideology didn't have universal applicability.
