Such unified code of ethics does not exist, unlike human rights.
i.e it's a different cup of tea to everybody.
Well, I used to be a moral realist ........ and when I say "used to" I mean yesterday. I am currently experiencing a lot of doubt and trying to figure out what I believe.
One thing I find curious, though: your religious views say that you are a Muslim. Aren't all muslims moral realists because they believe that Allah decides what is right and wrong?
One of the first rules of Islam is that there shall be no compulsion in the acceptance of Islam.
Another rule is that people should be free to choose what they like in this life.
So I act upon it, and attempt to invite people to my faith but never preventing them from advocating their views.
That's why I believe this forum is doing a good job allowing both Muslims and Atheists alike to advocate their views and discuss them.
A Human Rights section would also benefit this context; with Muslims and non-Muslims freely advocate their thoughts and topics about the matter.
Personally I believe in God. But it's my God who ordered me to let people choose what they like.
