yep, I said as much on page two.
They would have had zero success if they tried to make FB a paid service though. People aren't really willing to pay for things much of the time. The funniest thing I've seen manifest is the fact that people "cut the cord" by switching to streaming services. It will be funny to me when people start expressing a desire for one comprehensive service that has all the channels... like cable.
I remember when you paid for cable it was ad free but then slowly more ads showed up and now it is ridiculous. The same thing happened to FB the ads didn't use to be such a pain in the ass but now it is like I'm trying to watch "Ow, my balls" from Idiocracy! Same thing on almost every content website!
