....almost anyone for almost anything, except in this case it's the theft of millions of dollars.  Juries do not look kindly at people who stole massive sums of cash from a public charity.

You would think that NRA rank and file would want the possible theft of tens of millions of dollars of their donations to at least be investigated and punished by the people tasked with doing so. I mean, they donate that money for the NRA to buy more politicians for the purpose of enacting legislation to make it easier to shoot random people, not for the leadership to jet off to the Bahamas for a crab salad.
