Actually I can't believe they accepted a resignation without attempting to cover it up or move him to another location.
I went to go visit family a few weeks ago, saw a church donation envelope sitting on my uncle's table and brought up this exact issue to him. I asked him why he would ever donate to such a sick organization. He got mad and tried to turn it on me, again I stated to him, just think about who you are donating to, he had no response.
I just can't believe people of any faith good still be a person of faith after reading this horrible stories of what happened to people who are victims.
My mother and many of her family are devout Catholics. Like many members of dubious groups, thwy find ways to ignore or justify the actions.
"It's just a few" is what I hear most often.
