Union, Justice, and Confidence

Louisiana, a largly Christian state with over 90% of the state. I live in Southeast Louisiana, where everyone with their grandma and her pet duck are Catholic. But besides that, most people down here are generally nice. I live in a small tradition based town with lots of history and nice people.

What I like about here is that people judge more on WHAT YOU DO, not what you think or believe. Most of my Catholic friends I talk to don't care if I'm atheist or not. Most of them tell me I'm a good person and they respect me just as much! (you would never believe, but these are good friends I've known my whole life who don't judge as much )

That's what I like about down here. We are largely a conservative state, but we don't worry about other people and their beliefs so much, we worry about ourselves as a whole.

There are the occasional loonies, but no one gives a shit about them
