The Trump cultists are masters of doublethink. They manage to be slavishly devoted to an authoritarian while at the same time screeching about being anti-government.
Tax-dodging won’t hurt him with his base. Claiming to be a successful businessman while being hundreds of millions of dollars in debt just might (not a lot, but some).
