If true, there would be nothing wrong with that. It isn't always the case that there are two sides to every story or that all people are the same, at least with regards to stuff like this. You can fault Democrats for a lot of things, but that vein is richer in conservative country.
But - as all parties involved are of the same species - I expect to find the levels of fuckery to be pretty equal.
