If you look at the current snapshot you could get that impression. But that would be tunnel vision of course. Because if you juxtapose the theists/atheists figures of today to the situation 1 and 2 centuries ago an entirely different picture will emerge.
Atheism – hand in hand with science, education, and emancipation – is like a glacier. It appears frozen, but it does move. And it never stops. For anything. And eventually it erodes and flattens entire mountain ranges.
If the religious do not accept that global warming is a people problem then those glaciers will continue to melt away till they are never more. So goes your theory of the religious. There will always be the superstitious and it's apparent you are deceived about God, between the two, atheist have no chance of ridding the earth of the religious or christians.

What plan?
Even when I was a confident-in-my-beliefs Christian like you, you and me were still not on the same page, and we probably never will be.
If as a christian you did not see God's plan, then you were in a situation that would make deception by yourself easier to believe.

I'm a socialist, an american, and a parent.
I'm not a Christian's worst nightmare, but I assure you that my children will be because there's FOUR of them, and more coming in the future. All he was saying is that breeding Christians out of existence is a good idea. It's not going to happen... it might happen (please, baby jesus let it happen! amen). It's okay to dream. Christians do it all the time with their revelation/apocalypse/judgement day/god exists/prayer works nonsense.

I did not say you were, nor do I believe that your children will be, nonbelievers have no power because no belief has no substance.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
