Yes, let's. Let's give no training to cops who no longer exist, who used to have no training when they did. The absurd end presents itself again.
If you currently have three cops - fire two, train the remaining third with one freed salary...you'll end up with one better trained (and still heavily armed) officer and a 33% reduction in funding. This is america, I'm not going to humor any shit about how the cops just can't stop killing us unless we give them more money. They can and they will.
