I think this is a case of rewriting the narrative. In the face of the "loss" of the GSA allowing the transition, Trump has decided to go with a new strategy.
He can now say he simply exercised his legal rights in the face of a "stolen election", and the "libs" made up their own lies about how HE was the one trying to a coup. THEY tried the coup with the fake Russia investigation!
He will continue raising funds, golfing, and sending out tweet storms.
