Not trying to be a know it all but I think you might be confused. RP is retinitis pigmentosa (genetic-not oxygen concentration related-rods/cones effected). ROP (retinopathy of prematurity) or retrolental fibroplasia is what occurs in premies on O2 and is vascular related.
No problem, I think that I just have some vague memory of the information. I learned something today!
