Both 2020s BLM "activism" and this act arose because of fake news - the former news being that the killing of George Floyd was racially motivated (zero real evidence for that - fake news) and the latter being that the election was rigged (zero real evidence for that - fake news). Fake news + adherence to free speech + poor research and rational thinking skills of many + fee fees + the internet =  

The data says otherwise.  Blacks are overwhelmingly more likely to be targeted by police and treated with violence during an encounter.  There are police policies actually dictating how police are to harass black people in some cities.  The police officers themselves may not be outright racists, but their department policies certainly are.  And make no mistake, if that crowd at the capitol had been a BLM protest, there would be dead bodies all over the place.  I witnessed the police launch tear gas at a local BLM protest that was 100% peaceful.  Why did they do it, you ask?  Because the demonstration was "scheduled" to go from 4 - 6 PM.  At 6:05, a lot of the protesters were still lingering around, so tear gas was launched to "keep the peace".  So there is most definitely a double standard.
