There were people at the attempted coup who were only there to peacefully air grievances and watch their hero perform. Just like most people at BLM protests were only speaking out against cops murdering black people. I think protesting murder is monumentally more important than rubbing salve on a power-mad narcissist's wounded pride.
Broken, angry people will continue to do violence for whatever cause is convenient. I can't help but wonder, after the failure of the Real Steal, what rough beast, its sins forgiven, rolls toward Oklahoma City to go boom.
