There is a disheartening number of people who think equality means they are going to lose something.
They don't see it as others getting the same, or similar, things.
Why some people are all freaked out about gay marriage amazes me. The marriage license is basically a business contract. But they cover it glossy bride/groom images and sprinkle it with going forth and multiplying and call it sacred (get that god stuff in there for good measure).
Racism, I think, comes from two places...religion...of course, most shitty things do...and fear of the unknown. Most people are comfortable with what's familiar to them. Instead of differences being intriguing they are scary.
White Supremacy is Racism to the nth power. These dipsticks truly believe that god made them superior. They are little people inside who have to feel bigger somehow so deciding that their skin color makes them superior is an easy answer. Have you seen some of the pictures of those inbred Duck Dynasty goons who stormed the capital? Some of them are obviously NOT superior in any way, shape, or form.
