Objection to the far left, as far as US politics goes, only comes from speculation about what would happen if they were in charge.  They've never been close to running the country.  Objection to the far right comes from both ideological differences and the results of their governance: a plague infested shit storm.  Thus, objections to the extreme right are measurable and quantifiable where we can only guess at the country Bernie and AOC would give us in place of Kamala and Joe.  I'll take observation over speculation as much as my fallibility will allow.
