That, right there, is where you're wrong.  It doesn't beggar belief.  It's exactly what we should expect from lazy people in abusive industry with the warrant of society.

That they did it is exactly what is to be expected. That they couldn’t do it is what beggars belief.

Then again, I’m on the outside looking in, so maybe my perspective is skewed.
