Yea, because a mental hospital is so much like a regular prison. Hinkley got the same style digs as Martha Stewart . MONEY, is why Hinckley did his time with relative ease. Hinckley simply served more time.
If Adam Lanza had not killed himself, it is highly and far more likely he would have ended up in a regular prison, if not on death row.
