Now we know when the first stars in the universe switched on
#2
RE: Now we know when the first stars in the universe switched on
James Webb has been postponed so many times, it's a meme at this point.

I have my fingers crossed that when it does launch, nothing bad happens. After all, launching a space telescope is no simple matter, and a plethora of things could go wrong.

But, assuming the launch is a success, man. We will be able to learn so much about the big bang, dark energy, black holes... you name it. It will bring clarity to many puzzles in science. I keep up with pop science through YouTube videos and such, and it seems like every other one it says, "observations from James Webb may shed more light on the issue..."

Here's hoping.
