For this to show what you think it shows, two things need to be true.  First, that a slave would never do anything that is not in his best interest, which is an unsound premise, and that Abraham's relationship with his slaves was typical for slave masters and slaves, which you don't know to be true.  I don't know why Abraham's servants did what they did, and neither do you.  But ultimately it doesn't matter as it's not the evidence that you think it is.

So my examples do nothing to disprove your baseless assumptions?

It wasn't baseless. You provided a basis. If being a slave was a nothing burger, then the story you cite doesn't make sense. Even if my comments had been baseless, your argument is still a nonsequitur.

Additionally, there is plenty of extra-biblical evidence about slavery in ANE.
