Why pray? If god is all seeing and all knowing then he knows what you are going to pray about, why waste his time telling him stuff he knows allready?

Another slightly related question, why does a god need to be worshipped, what does he get out of it?
The meek shall inherit the Earth, the rest of us will fly to the stars.

Never underestimate the power of very stupid people in large groups
