Fun Fact: He probably wouldn't have lasted this long if not for the fact that ABC Family/Freeform was contractually obligated to give him a platform as part of the terms of sale. And it apparently couldn't be shunted to a timeslot where nobody could watch it. It had to be at a time where people would actually watch it. If the owners sold the network to another company, the new owners were not allowed to change things. And, alas, his son Gordon is replacing him, so the only thing changing is a younger face who, while I'm not familiar with him, doesn't seem to be much better. And I suspect that the reason I'm not certain of that is nobody seems to give a shit. Honestly, usually Rationalwiki's a good source for some particularly batshit takes from far-right figures, but all they have is snark about nepotism and some sermon he gave on the show against selectively breeding weed for a higher THC content.
