Both are scams and therefore business, so as long as there is money there will be religion, astrology, acupuncture, palm reading, etc.
I mean, let's say we were living in a Star Trek TNG economy where everything was free, do you really think that the Pope or megachurch pastors or David Miscavige or Ken Ham would actually give a fuck if people believe in their particular brand of shit?
