The Supreme Court has weighed in on the second amendment, and decided that right to arms includes their use for self defense, as well as defense of the state.
I'm aware of the Supreme Court rulings and this did not change my opinion. The logic has always escaped me . Mercifully, I had the great good fortune to be born in Australia.
