For these things to happen there has to be intent as well as access.
Exactly. If access were the issue, then the outcome of owning a gun would lead, more or less directly, to shooting someone. It doesn’t, so it isn’t.
Now let’s all take a few minutes for 37 to completely misunderstand that statement.
