You haven't answered the question
Similar to the paradox of tolerance.
As to this being a low bar...you mean for seeing appreciable change? Yeah, I'd have to agree there. It does meet the bar for establishing that your beliefs were misinformed, though. You were wrong about groups inclusivity, though you may be right that inclusivity in advocacy isn't going to be enough.
You yourself stand as a demonstration to that effect, in thread. The inclusivity and, indeed, intersectionality of the groups you criticize isn't enough to overcome whatever torrent of disinformation you've been guzzling from.
I think it's pretty hard to miss the common interests of a group who recently had to use an approved bathroom to people who, today, find themselves the target of similar laws. If I were interested in perpetuating this state of affairs, I'd be damned sure that no two people I'm shitting on got the chance to compare notes. Divide and conquer hugs. Can you imagine the problem for the status quo if minorities, lgbtq, and poor whites all got to bumping heads outside of their approved lanes? That they all had more in common, and, not to put too fine a point on it, a common enemy? Any person or system that feels confident in denying the full humanity of a person based on the gender-coded clothes they're wearing or who they kiss will have no qualms doing the same on the basis of the skin they wear or the value of the clothes they hide it with.
