Researchers have been studying the effects of various macronutrient altered diet patterns for years, which is no easy task considering the myriad of factors that can impact measurable health comes, so to call any one position on the subject “obvious nonsense” seems like some serious hand-waving on your part.
One really cannot say there are no experts. But one can say for certain as new data comes in science adapts. And the other thing is every body's body is different so it varies from individual to individual.
