Trump is the tacit leader of the Republican Party, even if it’s sort of by default. Many of his detractors have called him and his supports Nazis, implying that our country is moving increasingly closer to the Fourth Reich.
I fail to understand the accusation, especially when you consider that Trump has been one of the most pro-Israeli presidents in American history. In fact, he has been the largest supporter and enabler of Zionism, an ideology characterized by aggressive Jewish ethno-nationalism. It has happened at the expense of Palestinians, many of whom have lost their homes, livelihoods, and dignity by Israel’s “settlement programs,” which is a deceptive euphemism that means ethnically cleansing the Arabs from the West Bank and replacing them with Jews.
Did you know that Israelis are so happy about Trump’s lavish philo-Semitism that a soccer club renamed their team in his honor? Read about it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beitar_Jer...apital.%22
Hitler wanted to exterminate Jews, but Trump wants to love them, pamper them, and by their slave. So really, the analogy doesn’t make sense to me. Please explain.
