Some friends of ours (my wife and I) are currently having a dispute over tithing. Apparently my buddy's wife was at church and the pastor decided to beat the tithing drum, implying that good christians in the chruch were meeting their "tithing commitment" whilst others may not be. Publicly shaming people (imagine the eyes going left and right, wondering who the bad christians were), in an attempt to make a buck. Real fucking classy. Apparently Pastor So and So needs a new pair of shoes. In any case, his wife feels the thumb on the top of her head and writes a check. Guess they couldn't afford it after all-que marital discord.
