Think on this, padawan: Atheism needs no such excuses.  Science needs no such excuses.  Philosophy needs no such excuses.  Anywhere actual truth and knowledge are to be found, no excuses.

It may be a variant as you say, but that doesn't mean it isn't true. And it isn't an excuse, it's a truth that is very well-founded in Scripture, which is obvious by my post.

Atheism doesn't "need such excuses" because atheism has no purpose other than to discount theism. Science isn't even a philosophy, it's an activity by definition, and philosophy is such a generic term that it simply has no relevance to your argument. In other words, you're just sharing a bunch of meaningless garbage.

If you think I'm full of excuses concerning Christianity, you're sadly mistaken.

This is what's known as an ad hoc argument, and it is basically synonymous with making up excuses to fit your desired conclusion. Such arguments are also considered fallacious and invalid.
