I feel like I'm wasting a good punchline here, but I'm pretty confident that you could pull a number directly out of your ass for no reason other than thinking it sounds super huge...and it will still be lower than the amount we currently spend trying to contain russia and china. Oh well.
Such is probably impossible to calculate. "Too many dollars chasing too few goods" is the usual explanation, but, yes, during periods of war spending, inflation does occur. And, so, the United States is "not making money" off the war in Ukraine.
