[Serious] For former Christians only, why did you leave your faith?

I left Catholicism, because, I got to the point where I did not believe in any of it anymore, and the Catholic hierarchy did not seem like they believe in any of it, nor did the Church's theologians (who like to question every single belief of the Church) believe in any of it, and my fellow churchgoers seemed like it was pro forma ritual for them, something that Mom & Dad did.  Plus, Catholic schools come across as being whites-only, middle to upper class private schools which simply exclude atheism, as contrasted with embracing Catholicism.

My wish for this thread is not to discuss Christian, Catholic and/or atheistic apologetics, but to see why former Christians left Christianity.

I left because I discovered that Christianity isn't true.  Several years later I discovered rational philosophy and the world finally started making sense to me. 

I left Catholicism when I realized I was helping to finance the world's largest and longest-running boy butt sex ring, complete with an underground railroad to relocate offenders to fresh pastures when they get caught.
