Ending problems is not what the U.S wants; its foreign policy "wants and seeks what serves America" only.
If problems serve America more; they'll help to keep the problems on fire.
If problems don't serve America; they try to end it ASAP.
The country is led by extreme Pragmatic politicians: they follow the interest of the U.S only.
No hard feelings for the allies of the U.S: the deal is well known from the start: these Yanks are only in it as long as their interests are met. Break the interest deal; you break the alliance.
The moment the interest is broken; the U.S is out of the deal.
It's a straightforward system; almost basic and simple too just like the laws of the jungle.
